first time on this site, i was hoping to see a change but they seam to be the same (as Eygpt) dive clubs trying to hurt each others buisseness through lies. Ive been diving in Saudi for 8 years i dived with a company called Desert Sea Divers started by Jordanian and English guy, it was a blast untill the Company got so big they brought in managers ,then things started to slide(published dive sites, food as cheap as you can buy, paying for fishing gear etc) it was still run well but the fun and adventure left, the Captains and crews left then the English guy, after one year he came back to a Company called Dream Divers and ran as he did the previous. The old Company after a year as the only serious Dive Club got a little shakey there English Manager was let go as was there English Dive Master, Captains and Instructer i dont know why, this Dream Divers Captain (Mason) got a grip and started running trips to the North Ummlaje, Yanbu etc,South to Jizzan ,Farasan Islands,Farasan Banks ,a liveaboard working the Banks and Yanbu allways full with international Tourists and local expats, so many Aramcons from the Eastern Province. Call it what you will rumors started circulating Jeddah ,started by a reliable source have you heard that before, i was a dive master in Eygpt, Thailand and Belize i have heard these rumors before if anyone is doing well the rumors will start. i dont want to start bad mouthing people there will allways be idiots in the dive trade they think they are divers ,some people call em Nitrox eaters, i have dived with Dream Divers they are not perfect but they put the smile back on many of our faces, Hagen Schmid the author and photographer dive with them Walter lueden is going again to the Farasan Banks with them mr Lueden is a wonderfull pro photographer, i can name hundreds of us , talk about smile i learned today that he is leaving to Sudan on a day boat for 7 days ,that is what i mean his people All of them Philipino but a smile on our face, the rumors are for sure unfounded, let them go if you need to know about these Captains ,Crews,Divers working with Mason drop me a mail
