The wife and I usually travel to SE Asia when we want to go diving. The price it costs to shink, drive or fly plus accomm plus diving in Japan is more than all this in a place like the Philippines which has some great diving. Still I wouldn't mind giving it a go sometime I guess. I'm happy up in Nagano at the moment as the motorcycle season has just started up again! As you know, there're some great rides up here. I was down in Kyushu last winter. Nice place!

I've been diving since 97 and have decided I really should get my own gear. However I'm not as experienced as you might think as I've often gone several years without diving. By getting my own dive gear I'm hoping to take advantage of diving in my local area (Lakes, rivers etc) so that diving isn't just a vacation hobby.
