I have been reading forum for some time, then registered late last year and have finally decided to introduce myself.
36 years old, originally from Rijeka, Croatia but working on offshore oil & gas project around the world as HSE engineer on deep-water installation vessel
I have a long-standing interest in SCUBA diving and have participated in several discovery dives at various locations around the world. After a less-than-ideal experience during one of these dives last year, I finally decided it was essential to attend proper training and take personal responsibility for my safety rather than trusting some random person.
Got certified earlier this year, currently focused on building my skills and confidence in the water.
