Glad I found this board. It is really cold here and no dry suit yet so I have been dry for a few weeks too many at this point. Longing for warmer climes and times!

It was actually MINUS 13.5 here this AM and I do not mean wind chill! I think I will go blow some bubbles in a pool somewhere.
Hey, Laurens, a trip to Bonaire sounds great but I just got back a few weeks ago. don't think I can quite justify another one there yet

Welcome to the board Lorien... We got ya beat with cold temperatures today... It was -33 C this morning ( -27 F ) and the wind chill made it feel like - 44 C ( -56 F )
Now that is colddddd. (BTW, the first day of winter is tomorrow)

Wow, that is colder than here! I was crying at -13.5F, have no idea what the wind chill factor is out there, I don't want to know! I am going to start some Dive Master classes in the pool next month to keep myself sane over the winter.

Speaking of "pool classes"... There is a pool that is 50' deep in Montreal. I am going to check it out ( apparently dive clubs rent the pool from time to time )
