Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum but not new to diving. I was certified 35 years ago, when I was 14 ( it sounds old when I put that way) ( daughter just rolled her eyes and said "thats because you are Dad") She's right, but only a little. I was a diver in the Navy with the Underwater Construction Teams for over 6 years and have done a bit of commercial work since then. I remember the show Voyage to the bottom of the sea! It was my favorite show when I was 4 1/2. Followed closely by SeaHunt.
I am retiring from my day job in about a year. I have set my sights on scuba instruction as my retirement job. I realize the pay is low in most cases but making a ton of money isn 't my main concern any more. I am renewing my Divemaster status and taking a Rescue Diver class soon. I was hoping to hear from some instructors and professional Divemasters on the subject of the Recreational Dive industry in general as well as feed back on school choices for my IDC and MSDT courses. So if you have a moment and want to say hi please do. Thanks
Terry
