I spent about 8 yrs in total working in Tokyo but only got certified towards the end of my stint there. Sadly, I never took the opportunity to go diving in Japan. zannen desuyo! One of these days I'll be back... Hopefully I'll get a chance to dive with Jagfish on his hometurf...

I think Japan is underrated. Although the viz was a little louzy lasttime due to some plankton bloomage in Izu... but okinanawa was fantastic. And i heard september in Izu has the best water temps plus viz... i'm excited!
