Just wanted to say hi and let you know that I'm a diving student. Doing my open dives on Labor Day weekend. Really looking forward to completing that and getting certified. I hope to be able to do some diving when I go on a cruise in October. I'm very excited, because this was a challenge I put forth for myself because I'm not a young chick anymore. I had some difficulty with mask clearing until I figured out that I would be better off concentrating on my breathing then the clearing itself. Once I did that-I was able to complete the skill. It took me several weekends, but I finally did it
I'm thrilled to be able to find a group like this, that I have something in common with . Thanks for being here

Oh--I'm so glad I'm not the only one --I figure your age is all in your head. If you feel young, no reason you can't do "young" things--within reason of course. Scuba is one of the things on my list of things to do before I get too old to be able to physically do them and enjoy them. I don't want to be one of those sitting arounwishing I had done all the wonderful things that are available and never did. The chubbies, just help me be a bit more bouyant--teehee.
