Hi all! Greetings from Ireland!

Finding my way around the board, lots of info to take in.
I'm a CFT (CMAS) leading diver with seven years under my weight belt.
All my dives are done with my local club: mostly on the east coast of Ireland (cold, shallow, and poor viz) but we do regular trips to the south and west coast (cold, deep, and great viz). It's mainly reef but we also have plenty of wrecks to explore as well. I've also done dives in the Red Sea, Barrier Reef, and Caribbean.

I don't see too many Irish members on the board.
Is there any life out there?

My grandfather on my mother's side was half Irish. Does that count? Welcome to the boards!:D

HI IrishDiver:
Welcome to scuba board. I'm sure you'll enjoy here. Looking forward to hearing about your wonderful country, and your dive experiences.

I'm not Irish, but I've been told I look Irish.
:) ( Must be the freckles on my nose)

I dove in Ireland a few years ago, off the coast at Baltimore. I agree, it was cold and the viz was terrible, but what the heck....even the worst dive in the world is better than no dive at all.

Welcome to the board!

Welcome to the board Irishdiver. I think I have spotted a couple of Irish divers here in the past, but don't hold me to that my memory is going:D

welcome to the board!

Glad to have you with us. I'm not 100% sure if we have any Irish divers with us - best place to find out is the section for the UK.

UK Wreck Ferrets

Look forward to seeing your posts real soon ! :)

Welcome. I may not be Irish but they say the Welsh are the Irish who could swim. There are some other Irish Divers on the Board but not many so encourage more of your compatriots to sign up.

Regards

Welcome aboard - I'm sure I've seen others around but can't for the life of me remeber who!!

Happy surfing
Jonathan
