just surfing the web and stumbled onto this site. just did my first pool session last night for my OW. I think I'm addicted already.
Going to playa del carmen and cozumel for two weeks in june for the honeymoon, any advice on do's and don'ts from a diving perspective?
thanks in advance for any info...
shaun ;)

Hi Shaunyd,

Welcome to the 'Board. Sorry, but I cannot offer any advice for your trip (other than wish you all the best for your honeymoon!).

Cheers,

Andrew

Heya Shaun,
Welcome to the baord and into your new addiction. Word to the wise, you WILL experience withdraw from the water from time to time, should this happen log onto the ScubaBoard three times a day for ten days (you can wear your gear if it helps)....

When are you going on your honeymoon? (that's where we went) Some of us are heading that way in June as well, would be pretty cool if it was around the same time.

Congrats on you first night of pool sessions, I promise, it only gets better from here. And congrats on the upcoming wedding. (does the Mrs. to-be dive yet?)

Cheers,
Vickie

Thanks for the ideas on coping with the withdraw :D
we are going to playa del carmen june 26 for a week then heading to cozumel for the next week. i think it's the first week in july. as far as the mrs., i was able to talk her into taking the classes with me and she's loving it too. the cool thing is our local dive shop is actually doing a wedding registry for us. instead of the blenders and toasters it'll be bcd's and regulators :59:

Welcome to the board. Good luck in both----marrage and diving.

I go there regularly.Only advise I can give is wear a full wet suit not a shorty.I got some kind of under water poison ivy diving off Canun. Itched horribly the next day and for about a week.Other than that great diving. Enjoy.
