I want to take my 21 mo. old out. (He's 18 mo. now but will be 21 mo. when we go.) He's a water baby who can go under water and kick and "pull" while being held but can't swim independently. I have no problem holding him, but I can't see how a snorkel would be a viable option given that he hasn't mastered breathing in the water. (He holds his breath under but still swallows water sometimes while held in swimming position). Besides, the Deep See masks seem to be for minimum 3-5 year olds. So what about one of the raft options? Problem is the only ones I've seen are about 40"-50" long which would not allow him to kick. The "Sea Window" products don't look like they could be used while swimming/kicking, only standing. Does anyone have a definitive suggestion for him? Thanks.
