Well, let me start by saying I really like what I've seen here on this site. I came in here looking for an answer to a question and found alot more answers to other concerns I had; especially ear clearing. I thought I posted a msg regarding a question I have but now I wonder if I did it correctly. I'm new to diving and I really love the peace and thrill of it. I want to gain alot of experience and I'm looking forward to it. Like others, I think I'm bit by the scuba bug. I'm already trying to make my own tank bangers/ rattles and dive logs. Actually that was my question.

Hello from Austin and welcome. Check out the regional section and find the SA locals for a little help getting settled into the dive life. I'm also new both here at SB and to diving in general, but the locals in Austin seem well established and situated. I'm sure SA is the same. Enjoy your dive time and I'll see ya around here and, I'm sure, around town sooner or later.

Welcome to Scuba Board. I joined three weeks ago and think it's a great site for dive information. The members are very helpful and are all dive addicts...you'll fit right in.
