I would pop over to thedecostop.com and look around. While we have plenty of tech people here, it is much more oriented to that. There are plenty of threads in the cave section already discussing that.

Sounds like you need a good cavern class. You've probably got all the gear you need. Might wanna work on your buoyancy and frog kick though!
