The recommendation says to post a virtual "hello" in the greetings and introductions forum so here it is. I don't usually do the message board thing because of the drama associated with it/them, but maybe scuba divers will be a different group of people intertwining on the web. Anyways Ive been scuba diving since I was 12. Learned to dive on the east coast of Florida and have dove just about everywhere in FL. My dad dives too, we have both been diving the same amt of time and were certified together back in, and my sister is finally taking some lessons as I am writing this.

I was thinking about starting a group message board for Central Florida Divers until I found this site I guess we will see how it goes here before I go any further with that idea.

Basically I haven't been that active of a diver for the past few years and I just recently moved back to Florida in the last yr so I am gearing up and checking out my equipment and hopefully I can get wet again soon. Feel free to say hey if you are in FL, or CFL and want to possibly meet up and plan a dive or trip somewhere.

Hey man, welcome to the board.

There's buttloads of drama here, but its avoidable. As far as the central Florida message board thing goes, the Florida population here is extremely active and for the most part, very fun to do stuff with. I look forward to meeting you at one of the up-coming Conch events. Here's a link to the Florida Conch forum.

All I know is, if you submit a picture of yourself with your prize catch to the LA Times' "What I did on Father's Day" web featurette, all of SB will flame you into changing your phone number and you'll get a nice visit and fat fine from DFG. Good times, good times. Oh, you were asking about drama?
