Hello from California.

I was certified through NAUI in Colorado (we did our dives in Santa Rosa, NM). Because of my job I've been unable to do much diving for a few years, however I just had a chance to do a bunch of diving in the waters around Guam. After 15 dives in shorts and a t-shirt (and scuba gear of course!) I don't know if I camly can go back to the cold waters of California. I just changed over to PADI by completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Diver courses.

I'm now looking to build my dive count and experience so that I can get into technical diving in the future. So, I guess PADI Rescue Diver, Deep Diver, and Dry Suit Diver are in my near future. I'll get to that Tec Deep Diver in a bit.

Not another California diver geeeeezzzzzee. I thought we closed the gate to them. :D

Hey rainman, welcome to SB, NorCal or SoCal?

Welcome to the board!
I did my OW at the hole too; many years ago...no desire to go back.

I dived Santa Rosa's hole a week ago with a couple of out of practice, multi-card divers. I'm thinking of going for my Nursemaid card so I can charge dive buddies appropriately. :silly:

I'm sure diving Guam was great, but diving California has it's own thrills and charms, and it's something most people can only dream of. Enjoy..!!

PM me if I can help you find your way around our Matrix or anything else here.
