I'm a Fish!
...I've never considered before:

Can you sugest any issue(s) concerning diving 24 hours after donating blood?

Thanks!

DAN doesn't say much, other than it's ok (if you're feeling well): Diving After Donating Blood.

Off the top of my head, I can think of two potential significant issues. IMHO neither is an absolute contraindication, but rather are just factors in a person's decision whether they're feeling up to a dive. One issue is the loss of cardio capacity. I think most people feel more winded if exercising hard, until all the red blood cells are replenished one to two weeks later. This could be something to consider in planning for emergencies, or if a dive is going to be particularly strenuous. The other issue is that some people seem to feel a bit lethargic for a day or two afterwords.

The other issue I'd worry about is dehydration, so if you're going, I'd make sure to try to be diligent about rehydrating both the evening after donation and the next morning.
