I did part of my adv. cert at the grotto. Plenty of room to move around in, and excellent visibility.
As for the therapy, just go into the General Equipment Discussions or the Tek forum. Ask some of the Tek or DIR divers how much they spent on their equipment. Once you get the responses I'm sure you'll curl up in the fetal position and curse the day you ever decided to go diving.
And you thought $80 for a light was expensive.
