Help with strobe

DiverVision emailed me back and said I need a new strobe that YS 60 TTL/S will not work with the SP-350. I will list strobe for sale soon.

I spent almost a year tryng to get my Oly E-300 Camera & PT E-01 housing to sync with a Sea & Sea strobe. I had not purchased a strobe because of the difficulty of the 4 pin v 5 pin set-ups. I had emailed HeinrichsWeikamp, but to no avail. I finally found Divervision and they had a Synch Cord that converted from teh oly bulkhead to the sea & Sea YS 110 Strobe. No replacement of the bulkhead and I was able to use the Oly cord between teh camera and the bulkhead (inside). DiverVision was very helpful and responsive to my emails prior to purchase and I have been happy with the results. Continue to discuss with them the specifics of your housing and if it is possible they should be able to get you set up.

CA diver...how much was that cable? I know Athena makes a cable but its pretty pricey.

I think it was about $75 to $80. It was worth it for me. As I get used to the Strobes I am taking much better photos and I was leery of taking out a part of the housing and replacing it with another connector. I'd probably mess it up and be out alot of money for the camera and housing.

So the cable just fires the flash and you set the output manually?

Yes. That is how I am doing it now. I belive that It is possible to use teh TTL, but I've been diong it manulally so far.
