You can replace the bulkhead on your PT-030 housing with one from Matthias - HeinrichsWeikamp GbR

Mail him to make sure you get the right one if you go this route.

AFAIK (I stand to be corrected on this) you cannot fire this strobe optically - i.e. with a fibre optic cable. Here is the product page - YS-60TTLDuo | Strobe | SEA&SEA |

Not unless you buy a replacement bulkhead - as I see it. Hopefully someone else will jump in here.

I recently purchased the following strobe, Sea & Sea YS-60 TTL/S... What will it take to get this to work with an Oly Sp-350 and Oly PT-030 housing?

If it's anything like my S&S strobe, the only trick is getting the sync right. Mine has three choices and a manual detailing the procedure: Point the camera and strobe at a blank wall and fire. The setting that produces white out is the one you want.

I recently purchased the following strobe, Sea & Sea YS-60 TTL/S on ebay Sea & Sea YS-60 TTL/S Underwater Camera Strobe w/ arm What will it take to get this to work with an Oly Sp-350 and Oly PT-030 housing? Any suggestions or help will be appreciated. I am new to underwater photography.

Like a fool, I followed your eBay link instead of doing your homework by finding the manufacturer's website.

Looks like it's cord-fired. No mention of slave operation.

Mine is slave-operated, but there's also a fiber optic cable kit for a pale imitation of TTL operation.

Looks like it's cord-fired.

I forgot the most important bit: "Different cords and connectors will be required depending on the specific camera you are using. Make sure that you order the cord compatible with your camera. Cords are sold separately."

Since the strobe has been discontinued, here's hoping that their cords are standard across their product line-up.
