Like an idiot, I bought a cheap red filter for my GoPro off Amazon. It was this cheap little red piece of plastic that fits inside the housing. I DIDN'T know it was that cheap when I ordered it, but alas, it was too late to order a new one before our trip to Roatan. We are here now and the filter worked good for the first couple of dives. I went to clean it yesterday and all of the red smeared and it is now ruined and can't be used. I have been taking video with no filter and its obvious the colors aren't good.
So, what are my options? We are going to try to hit the West end of the island today and try to find a new one, but wondering if there is anything I can do with the non-filtered footage. I have the Adobe cloud so I can use all of the programs they offer. Is there a way to color correct after the fact, or am I out of luck with the footage?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
