So my wife had found a shell underwater and decided to keep it. She put it her dive mask case when she surfaced and little that I had know their was a critter still in the shell. She then forgot to take it out when she got home. Two weeks later and it smells god awful. We have tried just about every thing to get this order out of her mask. Any suggestions?

Sink the stink....works on everything

I used to think products like Sink the Stink were just another unneeded bit of stuff for shops to sell, but they really do work. Whether they work when an entire dead sea animal is involved, beats me but worth a try.

bleach. We regularly bleach our masks every couple of years. it removes the yellow and cloudy scale from the clear silicone and gets rid of any small black moldy bits in the crevasses . mine is 20 years old.

I wish I knew what enzyme that stuff really is....id love to buy it in bulk and save some money.
