Help with DPV decision Hollis 160 vs Minnus 1.5

I have friends that dive both the Hollis and the Minnis 1.5. Both are great scooters. I do have a concern with the Minnis line though. They use a reduction gear and if you have ever seen the size of a Magnus/Cude/160 or Sierra motor, this gear box is small. My buddy has had no issues what so ever with his, but I am concerned about the life of the reduction gear box. Who knows, maybe my concerns will be unfounded once they are in use for a while.
