Hi Divers:
I plan on being in Florida for some training on the weekend of May 12, 13. I will be able to do one boat dive but don't know what would be the best area to do it at. Either the Tampa St Pete area or I have to go over to west Palm beach BoyntonBeach area. Which one would be the best. I'm an aow, nitrox certified diver. Please let me know and also who would be a good charter in the area you suggest.

thanks

I dive both often. Go to West Palm. The variety of diving is abundant. Use Splashdown Divers/Lynn or Kevin (561.736.0712) or American Dream/Todd (sorry, can't find the number in my phone). Tell them what you would like to see or do and they will do their best :) enjoy! If you end up staying in the Tampa area, speak to Captain Ty. He's awesome. You can just shoot him a pm here on the board and let him know what you are interested in.

Or just up the road is Jupiter. Deeper dive and arguably better than PB when it comes to diversity of marine life. In PB I like Pura Vida.

Like others have mentioned...I drive from the west coast to WPB and Jupiter several times a month for some great diving.

Cheers.
