Yeah that couple is great. $9 to walk on the Ferry at Horseshoe Bay, and if you have a largish group its only $100 per person to dive the 2 wrecks, or any two of there other sites. They don't mind if the 2 spots are far apart.

Ocean pro went out with them last Sunday, Snake Island and the Cape Breton I think were the dive sites.

I have to be in Prince George Sept. 19-22 for my job. I am going back to Vancouver on the 22nd and wanted to spend a couple of days diving before returning home.

I would contact a dive shop close to where you are staying, and ask for a divemaster to take you on a tour of some of the dive sites. The Cut and Whyte Islet are two awesome dives at the same site, about 35 minutes from Vancouver. There is a beauty of an octopus just past the daymarker there.

Here is a link to shore diving in the area: Vancouver Shore Diving. If getting around to these places sounds daunting, for a tank of gas and a beer, I'm sure you could get a few people together and carpool. I'm out nearly every weekend, and I know most of these guys are, too.
