I am new to the scuba scene and am looking at purchasing a TUSA Reg. Can anyone shed some light on the company and how they compare to some of the bigger names, i.e, Scubapro, Aqualung, Atomic, Sherwood etc?

Based on the TUSA sight it seems that they stand behind their items and they seem to be priced reasonably, but are they safe and reliable?

Hoping someone has some experience with them that they can pass on. Also scuba.com states that they are an authorized retailer for TUSA. Anyone bought from them?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a RS-340 I purchased from LP. Since this is your first post, I will warn you there are people on this board who are very opinionated concerning LP. The bottom line is, LP is an authorized TUSA dealer and the dive shop where I have it serviced has never questioned the warrranty and has honored the "free parts" policy.
Now that I've said that, I am very happy with the quality of the reg and how it breathes and have never had any issues with it.

Thanks for the feedback. I have looked at LP for several items and have also found that scuba.com has some great prices, only sells items they are authorized to sell by the manufactuers, and have answered the phone immediately answering all of my questions.

Check them out.

I dive the RS-240 and can't fault it on any aspect. It's as good as any. One minor thing I might point out is that the flow rate dial on the side doesn't really seem to affect the breathing by much. It doesn't bother me as it breathes nicely, even at depth, so I can't complain.
