im looking to go between the 11th and 19th of this month, is this a good time of year to do this?

plus can anyone advise on companies to do this with? ive never been to SA so any advice for where to stay.

sorry i know nothing about sharks, diving, or south africa so any help would be much appreciated.

I personal use Shark Diving Unlimited, there are slightly more expensive but as you do not do this all the time you want your best chance of success. Mike Rutzen's Shark Diving Unlimited

For other diving in Cape Town try Scuba Dive Cape Town - Pisces Divers, Cape Town, South Africa they dive daily and you can get to see the Seven Gill Sharks with them.

If you are planning other diving in the country try

Aliwal Shoal Agulhas House - Umkomaas Accomodation | Aliwal Shoal | Scuba Diving | PADI Dive Courses for Ragged Tooth, Black Tip, White Tip and Hammerhead Sharks. There are also Baited Shark Dives where you have a great chance of seeing Tiger Sharks but you will have a number of Blacktips around you at all times.

Sodwana Bay try either Amoray Diving or Reef Teach. Both smaller, more personal dive charters that will really look after you.
