Sorry for the not so good quality of the picture. This pipefish was found in about 20 ft of water off Pigeon Island in St. Lucia. was about 5 - 6 inches long. I think it may be a whitenose pipefish, however the body markings don't corroborate this. It may be going through some phase? I am completely BAFFLED on this one any help at all would be appreciated.. Leslie?

Based primarily on the prominent decorations, I'm thinking one of the Ornate pipefishes, Halicampus sp... (maybe Gray's or Brock's???) But I've never seen that one in particular.
Great find! :)
