The only complaint I have is that it is difficult to get the download cable to work properly. It takes multiple attempts and then some cleaning of the contacts. It might be a problem with the particular cable I have since I have the same problem with both computers. I'd be interested to know if others have the same problem.

I've never had any problems with with downloading from either my Veo 180 or Pro Plus 2, once I just learned to leave it alone that is. I snap in the download cable and just set the computer to the side. When I first bought the computer I would try to hold the cable in place and got mixed results.

I like my Tusa IQ-700. I've used for a little over 2 years. Simple and easy to use.

I put 30 dives last month on my 800 Sapience and It works just fine. Conservatively set at 1.4, the vibrating feature is a nice reminder to slow down the ascent and watch the depth with a rich mix. The oversized numbers are real easy to read.

Check out a Dive Rite Nitek Duo (Cressi Arch, Tusa) I have been using a Vyper for years but have recently swapped it for the Nitek. I like the computer very much. Good features and the price is right too

I've used my Mares M1 for a few years and it's been great. Nitrox, deco stops, ascent warnings, and everything else I've seen mentioned here. And I've seen the newer M2 on sale for about $200.

what about tech diving computers. I hav an AI computer now and want to look at a wrist mount. Trimix is in my future so it needs to be compatible.

I bought 2 of the Veo 180NX from LP for $200 each plus the USB download cable for $75 a few months ago. Even though I'm not looking to do Nitrox anytime soon it does have that capability. I also like the wrist since we rent gear.

All in all, I am happy with them and particularly at the price I paid (even better at $180!).
