So I guess a single gas computer will suit me the most (will allow me to witch nitrox mixes between dives)......
Correct.
If you want to get more familiar with how dive computer works, I suggest you take a look at this tutorial

Alberto (aka eDiver)

Mixed gas 'recreational' computers are kinda pointless IMHO. No-deco divers will never use the function (subsequent gasses are for deco mixes). Deco divers will invariably want something with substantially more 'oomph' in respect to algorithm flexibility.

In general I would agree but there is some usefulness. Not for deco gas situations but for ah crap I forgot to change the mix situations. I would always set one of the mixes to 21% that way if I got distracted and forgot to set the correct mix I could switch to 21% and know that regardless of the mix I would be diving conservatively. For that reason alone I think a two gas computer has some utility even if doing no stop diving.

Thanks,

The T3 Elite was my first choice (price, features and recommendations) but then I found out that it was discontinued and it is too liberal for me.
So in the category of wireless AI computer I choose the Oceanic Atom 3.1.
Form the non AI wrist computer I have an endless list of models to choose from:
Cressi (Archimede 2, Leonardo and GIOTTO)
Mares (M2, Nemo Wide, Puck Wrist and Puck Pro)
Oceanic (GEO and GEO 2)
Suunto (viper and zoop)
Tusa (Element II IQ-750)
Scubapro (UWATEC Aladin Tec 2G )
So if you have any comments on one of the above models, I will appreciate it.
But mine main problem is to decide whether to buy an AI or a non AI wrist computer. Or in other words, will I be able to depend on this type of a computer and not having a backup SPG (if I will need a backup SPG, buying AI computer is pointless, IMO).

Even with an AI computer I would not dive without an analog SPG. If your computer dies you have no idea what your air pressure is and your dives are done. With an SPG, depth guage and watch or bottom timer you can still dive using tables. And having a back up way to know your air is not pointless. It's smart.

I don't dive AI computers and have zero desire to. But I keep a spare SPG and hose in my save a dive kit. One dies (unlikely) I can put the other on.
