Ok. So I know this kind of thing gets posted a lot, but I really need all of your help.

My husband is an expert diver that does recovery work locally at high altitude in cold/ice water and under ice. Black water diving is not uncommon for him. He is also not so great about keeping his log book. His current computer is about 15 years old and it's about time for a new one. We are going to go warm water diving soon and I would like to get him a new computer. Am looking for suggestions. :idk:

Looking for the following features:

- Small wrist/watch like.
- Back-lit
- Hose less
- Air
- User Replaceable Batteries
- Integrated compass
- Can connect to a computer to print out his dive log sheets for him (then he can write in his notes).
- Temp
- Time In - Auto Start
- Time Remaining
- Depth
- Assent alarm/monitor
- Altitude Adjustable to at least 10,000 ft.
- Durable

Thanks for your help. As a super beginner, I would really appreciate the expert opinions.

Have a real good look at the UEMIS

Has a 2000 dive capacity inbuilt logbook amongst many other great features.

Note that it is MUCH smaller than it appears in the pictures but is a little larger than watch size.

Thanks for the help guys. Let's see what he thinks. You guys are awesome. :D

If you can live without the Hoseless option (and maybe the Altitude)......I highly recommend the Cressi Edy2. I wear it out when I goto a club or bar, let alone when in the water. And it's been Great in the water. It's usually right in line with my friends who are diving Cobras, Vytecs, and SmartComs. And don't get me wrong I plan on getting my claws on a Cobra (1 or 3) and have my Edy2 as a back up, till then this is a Great Primary.)

Thanks everyone. Looks like he is going with a compumask. :)

So far in warm water it worked well. Will test in the cold here in a couple of weeks.
