Hi Everyone,
I have a Miflex HP hose and a oceanic pro plus 2. I can't seem to make it work. I removed the quick disconnect and the threads matched, its just they seal in different areas. I've tried a few pool dives and can't seems to get it to work. I'm new so please forgive my noob question.

Hi,

I believe you need an air spool. This is a small pin like peice of metal that has an O-Ring on either end. Place the air spool in the male threaded end coming out of the computer and then thread the hose over the air spool and on to the computer. You should have some proper lubricant placed on the O-rings of the air spool. You can get an air spool from your local dive store or from Leisure Pro. If you get one be sure it is the style that has rounded ends. Don't get the one with a disc in the middle or one that has small ends. I hope this information will help you if you have other equipment questions feel free to contact me anytime.

Sincerely,

Leisure Proski

thanks so much for the reply. Thats what I needed. It's always funny when a $3 part causes hours of frustration.

oh and if anyone else is a complete noob and in my situation. Oceanic pro plus 2 with the quick disconnect does not have a air spool, so you will need to get one when getting the Miflex hose.
