I need some help planning a 3-4 week trip. My only experience to date is 2 weeks in Dauin. Very very good macro, but there must be more

My wishes:
Dauin and Liquid are high on my list, one week only

Surface travel between sites, I’d rather not lose a day on each end

Mid-level resort My stay in Dauin was with Liquid Dumaguette and exceeded my expectations (thank you @Centrals). I would prefer not AI

Competent dive operations

No major currents but pelagics are nice ( Ive never seen a thresher shark or a dugong

Timeframe is February-March ‘26

Many thanks!!

Malapascua more or less can guarantee thresher shark. "Evolution" is nice.

Feb - Mar is still the whaleshark spotting season(snorkelling only) in Southern Leyte. I always stayed at "Peter's" and will be doing the same in early Feb. But getting there takes time so "not losing a day is NOT possible"!! There are only a handful few resorts in the area so reservation is highly recommended

Highly recommended by one of the member and her latest trip report said it all.

Dauin - Masayahin - Moalboal(2 days max) - Malapascua - long day to Alona Beach and Anda (Bohol) - there is a ferry from Ubay in Northern Bohol to Bato in Leyte, onward to Southern Leyte.
I had never travelled from Bohol to Leyte but I know it can be done from either direction.
