Hello fellow divers!

My wife and I are trying to decide were our next trip should be. I am a diver and she is not but she has no problems lying on the beach or by the pool.

Here is the kicker we have been spoiled by all of the great AI resorts in Playa and Coz.
is there anywhere else that would feed our hunger for going somewhere new but would spoil us like at the AI I have been checking out some of the Sadels resorts but they are running 6K for a ten night trip just about a $1000 above what I want to spend.

Got any thoughts?

You might like Bequa Lagoon Resort. I stayed there last week in July. The people there are the most friendly I have ever met. The diving is unbeleaveable! Soft/hard corals everywhere, fish life abounds both macro and pelagic. If you go there the shark dive is a must! We had 7 different types visit us. Including a 17 ft. Tiger. The food was outstanding and varied. Table service style. The buries we stayed in were very nice. Here is a link to my pics from there.ScubaBoard Gallery - 1dwyatt Gallery

Wananavu is better than Beqa. I have been to both. Wananavu is cheaper, nice accommodations, better diving, and a really nice pool.

Fiji is a holiday destination with so much to offer: hiking, nature, fabulous beaches and wonderful local people.

It should be easy to keep both yourself and your wife happy. Have you anything particular on your wish list?

You can choose the less developed island of Kadavu or Taveuni with all the mod-cons available.

Would you consider a liveaboard? AS Tui Tai offers hard or soft adventure with an all-inclusive price.

I spend most of my time in PNG, with some trip throughout Indonesia and Malaysia. For overall all rich experience, I would suggest Bali. The diving may not be as good as some other destinations, but it is still excellent. New great "muck" sites are being found that may rival Lembeh. What makes it so great is that the topside sites are wonderful, exotic and a delight to the senses. The people are so friendly and welcoming.

Think about it.
