Preventing Swimmer's Ear
Doc Vikingo's Preventing Swimmer's Ear

As regards hydrogen peroxide, OTC ear wax solutions such as Debrox (http://www.debrox.com/) and Murine (http://www.murine.com/ears.htm) are mostly water with a little oil and peroxide solution added. Carbamide peroxide is most often used in such preparations at a concentration of 6.5%. When hydrogen peroxide is used, the percentage typically is somewhat smaller. Obviously the diver doesn't want to overdo it with peroxides in the ear.

Helpful?
