I'm doing some housecleaning and have a couple regs I can't identify. Here's one marked 'Oceanic' on the knob and dust cap leash. Can someone ID it for me? It's got one HP and 4 LP ports. No other identifying marks.

Thanks for that. This one looks a little different than pics I can find of the SP4 on the web - the vent holes are paired with the ports, rather than in the piston cap like the pics, and there's no plastic spacer between the body and the piston cap. Is this an earlier version? The 2002 service manual indicates differences in earlier models but doesn't describe them.

Hmmmm....looks more like a Sport Piston, a predecessor to the SP4. The keys are the vents under the ports, the plastic spacer and the piston cap is a different shape from the SP4. It's unbalanced, but should do fine when serviced. I haven't checked in a while, but parts were available about a year ago. Don't see that first stage that often so don't normally keep that kit in stock.
