Can anyone tell from these pics how old this Jetstream is? Is it going to require adapters for standard hoses?

It is older and will require a hose adapter on the second stage. It is a great regulator, I have been using an identical one for over 25 years. Dive Gear Express sells an inexpensive adapter.

You know there is an overpressure relief valve at the second stage end of the genuine Poseidon Hose

Thanks for the tips guys. I decided to go with a new Scubapro instead. Poseidon is overkill for the dives I'll be doing. Since I screwed my back up in 2003 I'm no longer able to handle doubles so I'm stuck doing bunny dives from here on out.

For clarity in case anyone else comes in

That's a 2960 first stage which is ~4 generations old at this point. It does not have an OPV included so requires an OPV with the Jetstream or Xstream second stages. In the Poseidon hoses this is built into the hose.
The Omniswivel branded adapters do include the OPV which is quite nice. The ball swivel version linked below but they do also make them with a rigid elbow and straight. As the LP port OPVs all leak quite badly I do recommend buying the Omni's

The OmniSwivel including OPV is very, very bulky and heavy, I hate it.

I prefere standard hoses and the mentioned adapter. Yes in this case you do need a OPV on 1st stage. I do not agree with tbone, usually they don't leak. I use Xs scuba Überdruckventil Silber | Diveinn. I use about 10 of them for serveral applications, had one leaking OPV within last 10 years.
