Hello Dog,
I am new to this board, but I was interested in your post. I have been diving in both the USVI and GC and Grand Cayman is far, far better. I also think that with the exception of lack of wrecks, the east end has better diving. I know that this causes all sort of debates. The east end has more variety, better walls, and more swim throughs. Unfortuantely, my favorite operator (Cayman Diving Lodge) is no longer there...thanks to hurricane. It is true that the east end's night life is pretty close to non existent.
