Another vote for the Hammerhead. I have both of their plates. You can spend a lot more money but you won't gain anything from a functional standpoint. They make a great backplate at an amazing price. Their harness is spartan but functional.

I too am very happy with my Hammerhead b/p and one piece harness,SS STA,and Oxycheg Signature wings. They are like bulletproof and will last years.Go for the Dive Rite SS camband. They are solidly made(weigh nearly 2 lbs) and will lock in the tank real good. Can't go wrong with this set up in terms of cost and quality.

I agree with coach izzy, just add some Dive Rite cam bands, Zeagle wieght pockets, and xs scuba trim pockets on the cam bands and you have the perfect versatile rig.

Another vote for the Hammerhead gear. They don't do a lot of self promotion on this board because they don't have to . They make rock solid plates at down to earth pricing. Their backplates are like M1A1 tanks you can't hurt them.
Hammerhead Rocks
As far as cam bands I vote for Scuba pro Cinch Straps. With the Hammerhead plate a single tank adapter and a pair of cinch straps your tank ain't goin nowhere.
Dig that!
