HELP-can't link photos to my posts :(

Hi please can someone help me-No matter how many times I try, this is what is happening:


I download the photos fine, but after I download (there are a bunch of red x before every option I want to say as well) I look under Linked Thumbnail L click it highlights but I can't R click on it to get a choice of copying the link-I hit More and it opens up 4 other options of sizes etc. but the same thing happens-no R clinking possible to choose the links?

I've tried multiple times with total frustration-I'm new here and would love to get some pics up but doesn't seem possible.....Ahhhhhhh :help:

I'm not seeing any photos in your gallery - not that that isn't our problem as witnessed by the other threads at the top of this forum. This does seem to indicate that there is a problem though:

as that generally means the image url's are bad.

We are doing server reconfiguration currently that may be affecting it also. Pete (NetDoc) recently posted about this somewhere, I believe he said it is a priority to get this resolved.

In the meantime you can link to thumbnails in your posts. Use the manage attachments box below the Post window in Go Advanced.

Or if you have a public hosting account on Photobucket or elsewhere generally you can link to photos there using the Image Icon in the post window. I believe Picasa is about the only service that doesn't allow this. What I've found helps people when doing this is to rightclick on the expanded photo in their public gallery and copy the image URL directly here - some of the public services alias their user directories to provide shorter URL's.

Can you copy the text you find in the box following "Linked Thumbnail:"?

It should be identical to the text visible beneath.
