I am not a diver, but enjoy reading about scuba. At 57 and dealing with chronic high blood pressure, I would not venture into the sport. However, I admire the tenacity and technical skills displayed by divers.
 
Welcome to the board. High blood pressure does not necessarily exclude you from diving. I have HBP and it is controlled by medication and I dive on a regular basis, but also make sure I have an annual physical.
