New
I am a new diver in CA having just gotten my certification yesterday. I am planning to do some diving in Florida in October. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Congradulations on getting certified! I'm heading off to florida in two weeks! Forida is a big place, I have many suggestions. What part are you going to? At any rate, if you have any questions, feel free to PM me. Hope to see you around the board!

Congrats on the new cert. I suggest you take a look at our California Kelp Divers forum and go into the SoCal section or NorCal section, which ever is appropriate to where you are. There is always lots of activity there to keep you diving.
Don't forget to fill out your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.
