Hello to all.
New to the site find loads of cool to stuff to read-especially as I read it stuck in an office pretending to work at a computer!
I am a new OWSI and am looking for somewhere to get some experience instructing and complete an MSDT course and ultimately get employment round Asia-Pacific area.
I am also interested in completing a scuba equipment technician course.
Any help/advice would be cool.
Cheers

Howdy TEX!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

BTW - Did you set up your Profile? Some ideas for your Profle might be taken from looking at mine. Click on my Username to the upper left, then click on my Profile, and see what I've done. For your's, click the [CP] in the upper left of the screen, then click [Edit Profile]. If you need any more help, PM me direct.

I know just what you mean, adamjamil! Doesn't beat diving, but it sure beats working.

I can't offer you any advice on tech courses or employment, but I see you're both an ex-rugby player and a white-water guide. I had a river guide once who was a former rugby player from New Zealand, and he was great. Also huge.

Thanks for bringing back that memory, and welcome to Scubaboard!

Welcome to ScubaBoard!

May all your dreams of warm water instruction in exotic locations come true. In fact, I think all you have to do is click your fins together three times and ... ;)

Dive safe and good luck!

Hello from Matt,

Welcome to SB! :scatter: I came here to look for help with my scuba diving dream and the response has been fantastic. So, I know you will enjoy being a member here.
There are a lot of nice and informative scuba divers. It's a good place to meet other divers and share experiences and dreams. Take care from Matt. :snorkels:
