Wanted to say hello to the group. Just joined the other day and am already impressed by all the postings, especially in the equipment section (looking for my first drysuit). Have been diving 2-3 years now and find it a real kick in the pants. Not to show my age, but I always had an urge to dive since I was a little kid watching the tv show "Sea Hunt" - and NOT the reruns! So one day,out of the blue, a few years ago I did and I've been diving as much as I can ever since. Live in the Sacramento, Ca area and dive mainly in Monterey, Lake Tahoe and local lakes, though I'm trying to get up to the North Coast soon. Nothing like a little cold water I say (no wonder I'm looking for a drysuit). I've taken many classes so far, adv ow, nitrox, rescue, first responder, altitude and hope someday in the near future to get into the instructors program. Though snow skiing is my real sports love, I really enjoy diving and hope to help others enjoy it too.
