Glad you found us! This is a great place to spend your SI, but watch out, it's addictive!

You'll find a whole bunch of "ferrets" hanging out in UK Wreck Ferrets

In the commercial diving world we always say it is easier to teach a weldor to dive than it is to teach a diver to weld.

Do you think this is true in recreational diving also? :D

Now where did I leave my hot metal glue gun (MIG with fluxcore wire)??? :eyebrow:

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

I have been told that what you say about welders & Commercial divers is true, as for my own opinion i wish that i had done the commerial diving course after I finished training as a welder
The diving side I work part time as a dive master
& full time welding stainless steel and alloys in the marine enviroment {TIG Welding }

Are you a Stainless Steel Welder? Cause if you are I have some heat questions for you. I want to weld a part for my rebreather- need to know what type of rod to use and approx heat level...

maybe we can help each other
