Hello all! I've been reading this board for some time, and am now finally going to get into posting.

Some great info on this board! :)

Well, I've done most of my diving on the BC coast, haven't pushed anything yet, but want to start moving on into deeper and/or darker realms. :D

First learnt how to dive in Cozumel, and then did some dives off of Manzanillo as well.

Looking forward to meeting some more dive partners too! Sharkmasterb, maybe we can dive together some day?? What certification do you have?

Welcome to the party line. Great place to spend your long surface intervals, learning more and getting ready to go back.

Looking forward to your input. You dive dry or wet up yonder...?
:cold:

Welcome to the board vancdiver =-)

I wear many different hats these days and use which ever one suits my needs at the time, so as cert. goes you can look at my bio if you like. What level of cert do you currently hold ?
Have you been to the island yet or are you doing strictly shore diving here in Howe Sound ?
Anyways I'm realitivly new here too but so far I have found friendly advice and good people.

Happy diving

welcome to these forums!

I happened to buy a flight to Vancouver the other day! I would love to find out how the scuba diving is out there... Look forward to reading your stories about your diving experiences in the Vancouver area!

all the questions.

I have done mainly shore dives, with a few interspersed boat dives in there. I dive relatively frequently, logging approximately 100 dives a year up here. I have just hit the 240 mark so I guess some would call me experienced, some would say I'm still coming into my own. I personally think I'm coming into my own still. :D

I would love to get a few dives in Victoria one day.

Thanks for all the answers.

Mark
