Hello, there was not a sticky greetings thread so it looks like you just start a new thread on this site for hello's.
My name is Jordon, I am 26, I started diving about a year and a half ago, I have always wanted to do it since I was a kid, just took a few decades of solid procrastination.
Anyways I have about 18 dives so far, not very many, and definately not as much as I would like, right after I got certified I moved from Washington state to the Bay Area of California, between work and not having any dive partners I never got to dive down there before I moved back home, unfortunately.
I did go to Monterey Bay and oogle over how fun it looked, I was around and hr away so it made it a little inconvenient to drive down there alot in order to find someone to dive with.
Anyways back home and made some more dives, I took my certifications in a wetsuit and that was it, I tried a drysuit and never looked back.
Most of the dives I have done have been in Edmonds Underwater Park, its any easy dive and it so close I can go after work, or in the morning on a day off, and not have to worrie about it taking hours and hours.
I do want to get a camera to share my experience, I dont need anything SUPER fancy, as I dont know how far into it I will get, but maybe something that can grow with me. Any suggestions would be had, I dont want to break my bank either..
Anyways, hello, and thanks.
