This may supposed to go in the welcome section, but I would rather meet the locals

Hello everyone, I'm Sean from Boston. I've been certified for a couple years, just started getting back into diving last year. I finally bit the bullet and geared up for this season, just got to pick up a hood, weight and some tanks and I am gtg. I stubled across this site while looking for new dive sites around Boston. Last year I dove a couple of times out at the Brewesters, Gloucester, and off of Saquish in Duxbury/Plymouth, looking to get in a lot more diving now that I don't have to rent anymore.

I go mainly for lobster and but I am hopping to get into scalloping this year. I just joined up here so it's going to take a while to get through all the backlogged info and get up to speed on all the hot spots. See you around the forum and hopfully underwater.

You can run but you can't hide...

Hello Sean,

welcome (Scub)aBoard! :happywave

It's always good to hear of more local divers. We have the best low vis, cold water diving in the world! :)

Welcome to the SB and the NELD, Sean. You'll find plenty of dive trip/site descriptions, humorous postings and friendly advice on this forum. If you want to dive New England this is your best source for information on charter info, gear and techniques, as well. There's always someone willing to dive if you are, so you should have no problem locating a dive buddy.

Welcome and safe diving,

LobstaMan
