Welcome to the ScubaBoard, buddy !!!
We hope you'll like it here.
If you need any help, just look at the bottom of the opening page. You'll see the names of all the members who are currently signed on. The greeters names show up in orange(?). Click on one's name and go to the "Send Private Message" line, click on it and ask away.
Happy hunting.
And, once again, welcome !!!!

Welcome to SB.com. I guess that's Lisbon Portugal? We're a worldwide community here, and - unless I am the only one who wasn't sure, you just might add that to your profile? I mean, I presume that everyone know that Texas is part of the US, but I added that just in case. :D

With 2000 dives, I wonder if you might qualify for our Instructor forum...?

Well, hope to see you around the forums. PM me if I can help you find your way around here...

Houdy (hope is correct) DandyDon
That's correct I've just haded the rest of the location on the profile: lisbon-portugal-europe.
Any way at least i know that dallas is in texas.
Thanks for the welcome.
About the instructor forum that would be both ways interesting cause during my dutty in africa i supervised the entire 9 courses x 8 elements for padi open water new divers, sucessfully. The examinations (final tets) were made by a credentiated dive school from portugal that was invited by me to go in to the island (rolas island in são tomé e principe arquipelago - inside the guine golf - west africa coast) each time the courses were at the end.
Can you gi'me a tip how can i ask to enter the instructor forum.
I hope that this year my schedulle gi'me the oppurtunity to do the padi ai and 1 month later the padi idc.
My 2000 dives are the registered ones. The ones that i made since 1984 with close friends, from the beach, just for check the under boats, docks maintenance, baptisms and some undreds of shallow dives whenever the resort was çow on visitors/clients, well...those are not unfortunately registered.
I have also participated with several undreds of dives in the biology research and preservation of nature with the university of açores (some 9 portuguese islands in the atlantic ocean) cause in the rolas island area the unpback wales have their last period of maternity and my intervention was extremelly usefull to the biologists that were with our company developing the rolas island preserved nature area.
I also have many dives on the arqueology departement (Ocean Tecnology Foundation - Connecticut - USA).
Well i'll keep in touch.
Hope you the best.
Clear waters.
