I would suggest talking to either Bruce Weinki or Bill Hamilton about the mixed gas planning, or maybe someone at DAN for the physiology.

There are many books available on the subject, thus I dont think your questions can be answered fully here
 
Welcome to the board Mike. I know there will be a lot of members picking your brain. I just hope you will enough left to dive....
 
Master what? Where did you get your dive med expierance or degree? Almost sounds like your doing an ice breaking statement for research paper questions, if so let me know and I will give you the board names of some folks that I have seen answer every question about dive medicine, way beyond the expierienced diver.
