Hello - shore diving in Oak Island, NC?

Hello,
I'm PADI divemaster looking for any shore diving available in the Oak Island NC area. Heading there next week for vacation. Any info would be helpful.

Nothing close by unless you consider the jetties at Masonboro inlet, an hour or so away.....and good luck finding parking. There is an old wreck in an nearby inlet but the currents are ripping, the vis very bad and you are begging to be hit by a boat. Your best bet is to head to Wilmington and dive with one of the dive ops there.
I have had a house on the island for the last 15yrs or so.
