Also if you want to head south we have our Mid-West Muck Divers forum which also has members from southern Illinois.

Welcome to the board. I'm not from IL but just across the state line in IN. Looks like you are in a good spot when it comes to diving. Not too far from the lakes and then no too far from the few in southern IL and MO.
